"This place had all the components to be a fantastic brunch spot but we were disappointed from start to finish. We were greeted by the female manager (Julia? with a hostile reception, despite it not even being busy and our having booked. We consistently felt like we were an inconvenience and asking for too much, even when asking for a high chair. Our waiter didn't know the menu, which made it difficult in ordering and receiving the correct food the food wasn’t as described on the menu. The food came out at different times. The bill was wrong and rather than apologising, the female manager snatched it from my mother in such an aggressive manner we were left shocked. It turned what should have been a lovely family occasion into a stressful event."

"Excellent Sunday roast, possibly top 5 in london. the starters were deliciously light and balanced, which is a good preparation for the enormous parts of the main. fantastic bratkartoffeln, and really the best yorkshire pudding I ever tasted (probably because it was seasoned the meat (sirloin for me, pig bell for my partner) was nicely cooked. the only, and very small, deviant was the cute sides just a tiny bit blanden. although, I notice that each additional sweet is complementary, a beautiful note. I did not try the desserts (only £7 extra for three courses) as the net was so filled. our service was attentive and warm. we will certainly be back."

"Ive always been a fan of this brand, lovely decor and great menu but the service really let them down this weekend. Unfortunately the waitresses were not trained at all and were either surly or unknowledgeable about the menu. Such a shame as the pizza was amazing, Manager was lovely when explained difficulties but the staff should really be trained better as there were plenty of them milling about."
