"We were simply passing through Castelvetrano, but had to stop at this world famous bakery. The location is one block off from the maps link on Tripadvisor and has good signage. The proprietor was so welcoming and patient despite our arrival 2 min prior to midday closing. He explained how the bread/yeast/flour is unique and showed us the different yeasts he uses when he opened the refrigerated yeast containers they popped like champagne and the aromas were fantastic! We bought the famous bread, but also some sweets as well. So very glad we stopped!"
