"My wife and I have been going to Bistecca on and off since it opened. Decided to have nice dinner out for the 2 of us,made reservation and once we arrived we were seated right away. Were greeted by the server indicating he and a partner would be taking care of us, ordered our wine and that was at 6:45 pm. So, by 7:40 when approached , indicated we were feeling quite forgotten about. Server didn't apologize, said we had gotten slammed with customers coming in, took our order and that was it, so an enjoyable night out wasn't turning out that way. Manager came over and addressed situation, prior to arrival of the food, and when the food came out, things started to turn around. I had the always delicious Gorgonzola Shrimp for an appy, short rib ravioli, to die for it was so good, and my wife the Caesar salad and Onion soup. Food was spectacular!Glen, our server, came back apologizing for the delay, we coached him a bit that all they had to do was let us know what was happening earlier, bring us some bread and we would have understood. They provided a dessert on the house, an extra glass of vino, and totally made the night right!Well done Team at Bistecca, for making sure my wife and I will be back. No matter how delicious your food is, if the service isn't there, you will lose clients. Again Great comeback guys, thank you."

"I was in this restaurant a handful of times and every time I go, I am so taken back from the quality of food and customer service. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is delicious and fresh! The appetizers and pastas are definitely going through the Entrees, but everything is family style, so it's great to share and taste a bit of everything. The wine menu had a great variety of what I remember. To finish the night with their parm with cracked pepper and honey is obviously the perfect way to finish a spectacular meal! (No dessert was missed when the cheese had) It was absolutely one of the best meals I had in Edmonton!"

"This was my first time playing Jagare Ridge, nice course, just disappointed in the aerated greens. They were extremely rough and the putting was even tougher than normal. Also, the prices of beverages off the beer cart were rediculous. for two drinks and two...small bags of chips. WOW! Not sure I will return."

"Had a late dinner at Sorrentino's on a Sat night during grad weekend. Made the reservation via OpenTable and was seated on time. For a change we each had a pasta and I would say the portions were good sized and the flavours were also good. My wife had the gnocchi with chicken and I had the buffalo cannelloni. I expected more than buffalo in the cannelloni but it was good with both white and red sauce. Basic, but good. The gnocchi I tasted off my wife's bowel was also good; and rich. Overall consistent from the last time there. One of the best restaurants in the area."
