"Two. Back to this restaurant after 3 years. The service is fast smart. All we had was fresh and tasted great. The wine was a nice surprise. We had a nice time with great surroundings. Of course, it is expensive compared to euro zone because you are in Switzerland and Lugano is such a charming place. Now I think it's still one of the best values that you can get there when you consider all the positive (including the amazing wine stool that was made home by the waiter"

"Moncucchetto Ristorante e Cantina offers a picturesque location enhanced by the modern building designed by Mario Botta. The first impression is impressive and the rooms invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the tour of the cantina was a bit short and did not provide the depth of information we had hoped for. The presentation seemed a bit unmotivated, which spoiled the overall impression a little. The highlight was definitely the aperitif platter at the wine tasting, which offered an exquisite selection of local delicacies. At a price of CHF 35, including aperitif, four wines were offered for tasting two whites and two reds. The wines were okay, although not necessarily outstanding. The combination of a lovely ambience and solid wine tasting makes Moncucchetto a pleasant place for wine lovers, although the tour could be significantly improved."
