"Awful experience. Waited over an hour for our food and it turned up cold and with items missing. When I called the restaurant, the lady was hostile and said they had just come out of the oven so I must be wrong. We started to eat the pizza anyway even though they were cold, because we were hungry after waiting so long. After ripping part of the crust a large fly with wings still attached fell out!This place has hit the rocks. High staff turnover, poor quality and now insects in the pizza! Does not fill me with confidence about the hygiene standards.Will never order from them again."

"My husband and I hadn’t been to this restaurant for a number of years as we had moved out of the area. As we were in the area we decided to have dinner there as we remembered the food as always being delicious. Well, we were in for a surprise. To start, I asked for a Coke to drink and was given a can of Pepsi without being asked if Pepsi was an acceptable substitute. To me, it’s not! The food was mediocre at best, definitely not how it used to be. I wonder if the chefs and/or the owners have changed. When we asked for the dessert menu, the server actually told us that the tiramisu was not fresh and that they had run out of the other desserts. When an Italian restaurant has tiramisu that’s not fresh, you know this is not a restaurant you want to go to again."

"(save for thickness, as Camarra's makes their pizzas a tad thicker than in Italy!)Camarra's is an Italian restaurant in one of the (dying) Italian shopping districts of Toronto (if you want to call it a district), that has been serving top-quality food for longer than I have been alive. True, Camarra's is not for the faint of wallet, as you're most-likely looking at over $25.00 a person (unless you simply eat one small thing), however for a once-in-a-while splurge, it is more than worth it.Appetizers are all, for the most part, delicious and quite Italian. The Salads are delicious and used to be quite generous; now, they are a standard, Italian Restaurant size. I cannot comment on most of the mains, as literally the only thing I have ever eaten here, has been the Pizza. The Pizza is absolutely fantastic though; when conscious of my eating, I will just settle for the personal size, however when sharing, a medium is more than enough for two people. It is best to select your toppings, rather than select the pre-arranged Pizzas, as you can customise your pizza, basically however you would like; Camarra's is one of the few establishments that still offers green olives as a topping!Staff is warm, though the purely Italian staff has changed throughout the years (which is fine, it just lessens a bit of the authenticity) and the ambiance is typical for an Italian Restaurant. Parking can be an issue!Camarra's is still an Italian mainstay in the city and hopefully it will remain for years to come."
