"Ate here 3 years ago and it was absolutely epic, given I grew up next to Greeks and have traveled to Greece many times ? I knew great Greek food when I tried it ? sadly as I live 4 hrs away and of course Covid I have not been back till today ?. One word ? garbage!!! The food was sloppy, tasteless (except for the mountain of salt) the fries and gyro were greasy and dry? and the meat tasted like it was frozen, then microwaved ? then cooked. The dolmas were delicious, but the other dishes were below average? Greek food is simple, bright, flavoursome, has a zing of lemon and acid driven olive oil?.sadly none of these simple and essential flavours where here tonight the staff were inattentive, lazy and when I asked questions about some of the menu items the lady behind the counter was clueless ? don?t waste your money? go somewhere else ? sad, I will not be coming back ?. And gone are the days of me talking this place up over the last 3 yrs."

"I like to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, but this was ridiculous. this is the second time i've placed an online order for my coworkers and myself for lunch, only for simple greek to cancel on me last minute. The first time it happened, i made the order the same day so if they couldn't do it in time, that's understandable. This time i placed the order a day ahead. plenty of time for them to accept or cancel. I just got the notification they cancelled, an hour before we needed the food. unacceptable. I don't know what issues going on over there, but i made it a a point to remove Simple Greek from our ordering list going forward."

"Gyro Gyro, Dunwoody GA. 8/6/2011 I went to Gyro Gyro in Dunwoody with my daughter for lunch today for the first time. My daughter is a vegetarian and had mahi mahi on top of a Greek salad which was excellent. I ordered a souvlaki plate with a double salad as I had sworn off french fries. However someone who was taking out a plate with french fries said that they were incredible so I had the souvlaki, french fries, salad, and pita bread. Everything was great and the portions were huge. The french fries were the best I have ever had (very crispy on the outside and potatoey on the inside and they did not seem greasy at all) and the salad was great--very fresh and crisp with lettuce, chopped onions, cucumber, lots of slices of ripe tomato, kalamata olives (and pepperoncini). The oil and vinegar dressing was really light which I really liked and I also tried their special sauce on my souvlaki and some of my salad. The food was so good that I ordered dinner to take home for my family. In addition to the salads I ordered and have now tried the hummus which was great with both the carrot slices and pita bread (which is very moist), the grilled chicken plate, and truly fabulous spanikopita. And I still have leftovers from lunch today. And after lunch and dinner we still have enough food for lunch tomorrow. The service is very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast, and the decor is definitely fresh, clean, and attractive. Overall I was very excited to discover Gyro Gyro and plan to go back frequently. If I lived nearby I would be there several times a week. The food is very tasty, healthy, the portions are huge, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity. "Very good place with many vegan options. Me and my wife came here to have dinner with our friends, the food was good and the waiter was very kind. The place was crowded and I think it is normal for a restaurant who offers good food at a reasonable price (the picture I posted was taken at the end of the evening that is why it shows an empty restaurant). We had such a nice time."
