"8 oz. Top Sirloin Garlic Mashed Potatoes Yesterday was my friends birthday she got out of work late so around 11 we called to make sure it was OK we got down to eat even though they closed at midnight. We were told that as long as our food was ordered by 1130 we were fine she had ordered some shrimp which her meal was all right, I had ordered the sirloin steak with a side of mashed potatoes and french fries.. my plate was brought out just like this then I was told there was no french fries so I ended up getting another side of mashed potatoes.. I was very unhappy with my meal dumbass potatoes were old and hard in the steak wasn 't all that warm. The server handed us the $62 check I had mentioned to him that I wasn 't happy or satisfied with my meal so he grabbed his manager.. I never complain about my food but $62 for 20 minutes and the food looked like this, the manager said he would give me a discount... he came back with a $40 ticket, and I felt as if he thought I was just not wanting to pay for my food.. upset I paid for the $40 ticket and started taking pictures.. the moment the manager Saw me doing so he ran to my table and handed me a free appetizer coupon... I left the coupon on the table and decided to leave this review.. it was the worse experience I 've ever had at Applebees.. I understand they were closing, but that was why I called ahead of time to make sure it was OK. Had I known I was gonna get this kind of service I would 've rather of went to Denny 's or somewhere else.. I felt like the manager didn 't really care about the way the food was served to me and the $20 off was a slap in the face to shut me up.."
