"We had a full lunch, so it was 9 PM by the time Joy and I felt hungry enough to have dinner. Instead, we did our laundry in the first half of the evening. There were only a few restos left open at the time, so we found ourselves back at Shafto Lane trying out Grill’d. Practically everything is organic. I got the “Baa Baa” Burger (AUD 14.5), which had grass-fed lamb patty, avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce and “herbed mayo” between gluten-free buns. I also asked for a sunny-side-up free range egg for an additional 2 Dollars. The patty was really tender. I felt healthier already!"

"I especially like that at this chain they cook the vegetarian patties on a separate hot plate part and use separate tongs to manipulate them. A very good vegan and vegetarian option in areas where there are not others (this is not Carlton)."

"The burgers at Grill'd Little Bourke St are well cooked and delicious but the premises need an update. The environment is not appealing and the sight of torn seats at the tables is very off putting. I wouldn't come again until the look of the premises is improved."

"The Grilld cafe in Albert Street is part of the Grilld franchise ... there is both inside and foothpath seating ... there are 3 vego burgers on the menu including the Vegie Vitality 12.50) that I had ... the quality, presentation and quantity was excellent with a beetroot based patty, fresh bun, avocado and crispy fresh salad vegies ... there is also a vego salad and a range of chips including sweet potato and zucchini chips ... eftpos payments available and free wifi"
