"I had the most transported culinary experience in Battery Park Grille. You have a nice selection of outdoor tables overlooking the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. It was the perfect place to watch the sunset. I started with the crab cake that was delicious. I then had the Asian tuna salad with one side of potatoes. The salad was very large and the tuna was cooked for perfection. The potatoes were amazing. I finished with the Tiramisu, which was the perfect way to finish the meal. The service was excellent, the staff were all so friendly and efficient. An absolute jewel of a restaurant."

"The food was mediocre; the cavatelli I ordered had a very basic taste of the creamy-tomato sauce with very limited amount of shrimp and calamari in it. Pasta itself was ok: al dente but nothing special. The muscles appetizer was somewhat too greasy, it looked like they needed to add more butter to counterbalance the dryness of the breadcrumbs. I'd rather see clams roasted with herbs and no breadcrumbs at all. It was also too loud in the restaurant (hello, acoustic panels?! and at the end, the server charged us for a bottle of Pinot Blanc instead of one glass I had with dinner. We addressed it and adjusted the bill, but it is a rather sloppy service for the prices that the restaurant charges."
