"This is a favourite for our family and never disappoints. Great food, great variety and welcoming service. The dining room is spacious and decorated with local art, and is usually busy. For many years, it has been requested by the kids (now 13 and 15 and is a treat for all. Many people think of Pho when they think of Vietnamese food and to be honest, that's never been our go to dish so I can't comment on their version of it. But I can say that everything I've tried has been good. Our comfort food is the 402b under the Steamed Vermicelli section. Delicious fresh herbs, carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts and lettuce, topped with vermicelli, crisp spring rolls and your choice of meat (I'm a fan of the lemongrass pork, but chicken is often a second favourite pick with the family. Served with their nuoc cham fish sauce, it's so delicious, and filling. We often start with their hot and sour soup to share, or their summer rolls (shrimp, vegetables and vermicelli in rice paper with peanut sauce . When looking for a change, we've tried a variety of their other dishes with various sauces and vegetables. Favorites include their sizzling dishes a little pricier but large helpings and so tasty! And I really like their #418 Stir Fried Vermicelli with curry. It is loaded with chicken, shrimp, pork and eggs much like Chinese Singapore Noodles but with a different flavour given the vietnamese roots. Always service with a smile. I've never left hungry or disappointed. Yum."

"Nevermind the location. This is a hole in a wall. The kitchen is in garage/warehouse hidden in a industrial condo. No need to say the place is sketchy AF but the food is great. You want to take-out, obviously."

"Best chinese takout in Ottawa!. Dragon Express has to be the best Chinese Food take out I have had in Ottawa. The food is always so fresh and full of veggetables and meat. <br/ Everything I order there is delicious. <br/ The price is really fare and the portions are good. <br/ They always pack everything very neatly and delivery is only $1!! <br/ You also get free dishes depending on how much you spend. <br/ <br/ I love it! <br/ <br/ I always order Singapore Vermicelli, Beef and brocoli, eggs rolls, hot and sour soup (not the best there), almond guyding, House speacial fried rice. <br/ Just thinking about this is making me hungry!<br/ <br/ For more reviews check out theovalley.blogspot.com"

"Asian Bistro is an amazing restaurant that'll satisfy your needs. I had lunch on a regular business day at the Metcalfe branch with my brother and his wife. We had Pork Fried Rice, Beef Fried Noodles, Chicken salad, and some cool beverages like Peach crush, Canada Dry Soda....The preparation took approx. 15 minutes, and the waitress did a fantastic job. I'll visit again whenever around downtown Ottawa. Give them a try!"
