"Sunday evening, we had a choice of tables inside and outside. Service was friendly, but not super fast. Overall the food was ok, chicken wings and beef burger were very good. Chicken burger and calamari not so much. Above average at best."

"Perfect for a Sunday dinner for two. Arrived early, we were promptly shown to our seats (we were allowed to choose any seating, as it was a hot afternoon). The waitress was very friendly and helpful as it was our first visit we were recommended her favourite mains. The food arrived very quickly! We started with a garlic pizza and beef ragu which were both amazing, fresh ingredients and delicious! Our mains arrived shortly after perfectly cooked sirloin steak and mushroom/truffle risotto, both dishes cooked perfectly with great flavours. Finishing with the Italian Tiramasu, which was perfect, not too sweet. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great staff, happy to explain the food to new customers, great experience and food all around! We will be back, thanks!"

"I ordered a McFlurry and Large Fries and that took over 15mins to make. Thats something that you just make as soon as it's ordered without thinking. Ridiculous. Not only that this poor lady who'd be waiting for ages as well was accused of not paying. Sad"

"The dining area of this restaurant is simply amazing. I really like the olden style windows out front mimic the amazing olden interior. There is an alcove as you come in with an old-style cash register which they use for ringing up the bill. I really like the brick and wood interior with the metal along the edges. The booths were comfortable but I did feel like I was slipping out of my chair most of the time. The food menu is quite large and so trying to pick something was a bit hard. We ended up trying the venison kebab and I went with the Angus fillet with anchovy butter. The venison kebab was three huge cubes of venison served over rice. It was nicely cooked with a nice char around the edges along with the veges. I quite enjoyed the anchovy butter since it gave the meat an interesting flavour and nice saltiness. The option of croquette in place of mash was really nice since that was really tasty. I went with the salad instead of the roast veges and I enjoyed it mostly because it came with a boiled egg. We got the brandy snaps for dessert and they were really sweet and crunchy. The food was quite tasty and the service really nice."

"Ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and honestly the fries were so good, they were to die for! The burger was also well cooked and the aioli flavours hit the right spot. "4 of us went in for dinner and we shared a few plates. Beef chateubriand is a must, we asked for medium and it came out like a medium-rare which was perfect for me. Portion is generous and the sauce and mushrooms were so good along with the beef! Sashimi was nice, good variety and fresh, but had at least one scale on each piece of sashimi. I would not order the clam pasta again, not only was the taste not my preference but the pasta was all stuck to each other. We were sat by a table with good view and service was quick when prompted. Also good wine list."
