"A double decker red bus....come on what a fab place to stop! Had driven past often and nearly always missed the chance to pull in.... Managed it this time and we had bacon and egg butties, all good and tasty. Coffee OK and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Well-placed for a quick stop as you travel back up country."

"Not been here for several years and found it much as I remembered. The difference was a slightly musty smell of cooking and food that wasn't as good as it used to be. Great choice of beers and wines and the staff were smiling and happy. We all had fish and chips and the portions were good. It just was not the amazing product that you get in Cornwall usually. The ice-cream we followed up with was literally an individual tub of commercial ice-cream."

"Yesterday my sister and I went to the Plume as had heard good things about the carvery. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, the food was cold and over cooked. They didn’t offer a vegetarian option unless you pre order it. The service was good just the food let it down , it’s a shame as I heard good things"

"Was looking forward to this being under new management but very disappointing. A fab location and opportunity but poor execution; basic luke warm food, dirty tables, people vaping outside and a waitress who didn’t even ask our party if we enjoyed our meal when she...picked the plates up half finished. Shame. Needs much more attention to detail from owner especially being so new."

"We went here for a meal that was eating nice, apart from the burger was pink inside, owner did not have good customer service. and also owners was terrible aggressive and evil, my partner had a problem with his card, only needed to sort on our banks to sort it through the internet, no chance was given as soon as the card was rejected, the owner took my partner thrown him out very seriously. He then went to threaten me that he had my daring rain, and would come and find me. once the bill has been transferred to bill and money, the bill has been paid within a few minutes. Unfortunately, that was after the attack. I'm considering calling the police for attacks. all other employees were pleasant. I know a few people eating there earlier, they won't be anymore!"
