"Great little find. Stopped in here for a meal during our holiday and so glad we did. Absolutely amazing! The place was very busy but we managed to get a table. Service was fast, helpful and friendly. Ordered the kangaroo and ostrich steaks, both were cooked perfectly and delicious. The kids had swordfish and scampi and both enjoyed. Big portions and not overly expensive. Don't leave without having a pudding, they were so good! Was definately the best restaurant we ate in during our stay and will definately return when next in the area."

"Best food in the opposite! the ham is fresh from the local butter and young oh young it is delicious. fantastic atmosphere for a few drinks with friends or for a functional staircase in the main restaurant. love this place and will definitely be back."

"Unlike many Premier Inns the restaurant is on the ground floor. It is run by ‘Thyme’ who provide the usual excellent Premier Inn breakfast. (It seemed to have a wider choice than most. The dinner menu appeared to be slightly less extensive than that provided by Brewers Fayre but my gammon steak was a sensible size and excellently cooked. The churros I had for dessert were fine, but I found four to be more than enough. My family who were staying with me had the mixed grill which they thoroughly enjoyed, but they were disappointed by the lemon and clementine cheesecake which they thought had been “hanging about."

"We had dinner here one night whilst 4 of us were staying at St Brides. Service was good but food was mediocre at best. Two of us had duck breast which was a special and we have never had such overcooked duck, absolutely no hint of pink and dry. We pointed this out to the waiter but no come back to us. Slow roasted lamb was OK but nothing special. It was a shame as if our experience had been better we would certainly have booked for more nights during our week long stay."
