"Not a warm greeting at the arrival. we had booked and were shown a table. ordered drinks, but the koks had to go back because the mix was not correct. the food was good, but not great and the service was not so attentive and could be improved."

"Went for some food and a pint or two. Food came almost immediately after I ordered it (American burger and chips chips were a sorry state and tasted disgusting, were clearly fried in old oil. Burger was subpar. Ordered a pint of Stella with this, tasted shocking also. Stella is hoppy but it shouldn’t taste as harsh as it did (8 years of bar experience from a former bar manager here! . Around an hour after the food and pint I fell EXTREMELY ill, was vomiting non stop and had the worst stomach pains I’ve ever had in my life, so much so that I wasn’t able to walk and was on the verge of passing out because I became so weak and nauseous. Was literally at home writhing around in agony and I’m now left with what looks like stomach complications. Won’t be returning to this dive. Food hygiene DESPERATELY needs looking at and that kitchen needs an inspection!"

"I went after going out to the cinema as it was conveniently adjacent to cineworld. The ambience cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere was evident and it was not overcrowded at the time. The service and quality of food was excellent and very quick and accurate. Great value for money. Definitely worth recommending!"

"Over the last few months i have been here 4 times. We had the afternoon tea on one occasion to celebrate a birthday. The afternoon tea wasn’t as good as last year. The scones were very dry, the sandwiches didn’t seem fresh as the bread was dry. The cakes we received were not as advertised. My Dad whose birthday we were celebrating didn’t enjoy the food and ate very little. I have been here before for coffee cake which is overpriced but nice. Fixed bag. I still don’t understand if you are meant to just go take a seat or wait to be seated. I thought you waited but others push past and just sit down. Its local to my family so easy meet up point but i live in Leeds and far better places about in my area."
