"Newspaper cuttings suggest there has been a restaurant in this corner since the early 1900's. Today it has been modernised inside, with wifi and air con available. They serve good quality meat and some traditional argentine dishes. At lunch you see lots of managers and middle ranking executives from the nearby offices enjoying the executive menu which is exceptionally good value for money.It's a pity that tourists don't walk a little over half a mile from Dorrego Sq. in San Telmo to enjoy good food and cheaper prices. Just take Bolivar street and walk underneath the viaduct and you'll find Vulcano about half a mile down the street. Vulcano accepts credit and debit cards. On your way you'll pass a number of excellent restaurants in an area that's becoming very hip without being over run by cheap chains."

"This is by far, the worst restaurant you could ever imagine...the food was atrocious...and the red sauce for the mexican food tasted like an ashtray...the other reviews must have been made by the restaurant because there is no way that anyone could actually enjoy the poison they call food."

"Embedded in this restaurant at 7 a.m. because close to La Brigada, recommended by the hotel, was closed by 8 a.m. The place was pretty crowded so we thought that either the food was good or that it was cheap. Sure, it was cheap with a glass of red or white wine just $20. The salad was quite simple, although the tomatoes had good taste. Sirloin Steak was a little chewing, but all right. It is very simply decorated and reminds us of a diner instead of a restaurant. There are probably some better ways, but its not bad."

"I didn't think there was anything special about this place except that they are open when most other restaurants are closed. The steak was just average and the side spinach I got was less than average. The prices were too high for the quality of food in my opinion."

"We arrived on a cold night and were happy to find the restaurant warm. We were offered menus in English. I ordered a mid price point 1/2 bottle of wine and my husband ordered a beer. The wine I order was out so the waiter brought me the cheaper bottle however he charged me almost double the price! I ordered an arugula salad with Parmesan which came out with cheddar cheese. I ordered the special beef tenderloin with cognac sauce and stuffed potatoes but the server brought me tenderloin medallions wrapped in bacon. Though it was delicious, it wasn't what I order and of course was $50 Argentinean pesos more! My husband ordered the ribeye and stuffed potato. He enjoyed both. Overall it was a good meal but between the multiple screw ups with my order and blatantly being overcharged, I can't say I'll be back."

"Es un restaurante que tiene muy buena carne, la costilla de lomo que es espectacular.El local está muy limpio, bien decorado y cómodo para comer. El servicio es bastante bueno, te obsequian con un chorizo para dos de entrada, además de panera y salsas. Ponen de fondo a una única a un volumen perfecto para poder conversar y felicito a la persona que haya hecho la selección de canciones.Es de precio medio-alto, una pareja cena un entrante con vino y un plato de fondo por más menos 1.000$.Volvería sin dudarlo!!!!"
