"The steak was good, but I would never pay that kind of price myself. A friend took me there. Instead, if I wanted to splurge, I would buy a (much larger) one-pound (450-gram) steak, available at my local grocery here in Japan for about ¥1000~¥1200 (US$9.50~$11.00), and grill it myself at home with onions. The only real value or special enjoyment in this meal was spending time with my friend. Save your major big bucks for something really fun."
