"We went to this restaurant for our anniversary, and I was expecting the typical rushed pieces of meat on a plate and to our surprise it was very pleasant more like a regular restaurant service wise. The meat... I only remember one type of meat,...the slow cooked one, that I wouldn't have have seconds, the side dishes were tasty and the roasted cinnamon pineapple was amazing. The desert was average. I would go back, I actually look forward to going back to Amarillo, we had a great experience!"

"We had a large group on friday night (early Mother's day celebration). We were seated in the back of the restaurant, which gave our family group some privacy, and at the same time, allow us to "people watch" the main room.The service and food were excellent. Of course, you pay for what you get. "We hiked to the entertainment centre Rio Sur on Tuesday night on the Golden Mile of Medellin and were looking for a place to eat. After looking around the first floor options, a helpful guard told us there were more restaurants upstairs. We wandered in Cheo Parrilla on the second floor, back. The owner and restaurant name have received our party of 12 with funeral and style, since the place was empty except our party, he has much attention to us during the meal. Cheo told us we should try the Cheo Arepas. And I'm glad to say that these arepas were delicious, filled with cheese and practically melted in the mouth... unlike some of the barely edible plaster chips that happen like Arepas in some other Medellin restaurants. Service was excellent, from our waiter Kevin, who spoke excellent English. We ordered a variety of grilled steaks and seafood. Everyone at our party was happy with their food, although the steak of my date was a little bit off. One word to Kevin and a few minutes later the steak returned, boiled to her taste. The bill was extremely reasonable, on average $30 per head. These include appetizers, entrees and cocktails. I will return. If you go, try the Cheo arepas (which with cheese inside)."
