"As a professional tour guide, I highly recommend Tommaso’s to anyone. It is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city and having the oldest wood fired brick oven in California, it is one of the most important restaurants historically as well. I have been coming here for more than 20 years but they never disappointed me. Any food and wine here are excellent. I recommend you try their wonderful Spinach Pizza, perfectly cooked and chilled Asparagus, Lasagna (one of the best in the city) and Tiramisu. Their service is friendly and warm. I always feel like I am invited to dinner at an Italian family. Carmen, Agostino, Anna and everybody at the restaurant are very sweet people and that’s one of the reasons that you should not miss this restaurant. The other day, I tried their outside seating and it was very comfortable. Gary, Alan and I will come back to Tommaso’s again and again in the future."
