"Papa Cristo where have you been all my life? ...Apparently on the corner of Normandie and Pico since 1948. I stopped by this little gem at the urging of my partner for lunch. Free, no hassle valet Parking on a busy corner is a plus. Gyro and Kabob Plate: 5 stars! Gyro meat is the best gyro meat I have eaten in Los Angeles. Tender, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Comes with yogurt (tzatziki sauce), two pita bread. Steak Kabob: 5 stars! I will be happy to try the lamb next time. The Gyro and kabob plate also comes with lemon potatoes (or rice) and a side salad all 5 stars. I look forward to coming back here and trying the other dishes as well. Be sure to check out the deli/dessert counter and the grocery section."
