"I have always loved Mr. Pis sushi. The quality was always the best and you didnt mind the slightly higher prices. When he moved out of Metuchen, we were devastated. When we heard he was back in town (Highland Park), we couldnt wait to order. Placed a large order and I am so utterly not impressed, and holy cow his prices do not reflect the quality in what we ordered tonight. The crispy wings were not cooked through at all. Fried gyoza was crispy on the outside and the pork inside was mushy and cool. The dipping sauce was mostly sesame oil and very greasy. Spring rolls and dipping sauce was my favorite. California rolls were warm and mushy. Miso soup was good. The other 4 specialty rolls were saturated in eel/sweet sauce. SOOOO Very disappointed ...... and we placed a large order. There also wasnt any garnish for wings, rolls or dumplings. There are many other great sushi places in our area at much more reasonable prices. Im sorry I "cheated" tonight. What a let down."

"Kaarage chicken, its decent, but definitely not kaarage chicken, this is chicken tempura im flabberghasted, ive been to many japanese eateries, here and in japan, and ive never seen kaarage chicken made like this, the batter is just that a batter, not a crumb, kaarage is a crumbed fried chicken, i shall never get this item again, i wanted a nice succulent piece of kaarage, my favourite food, and i got a sad piece of chicken tempura, if any manager of this restaurant reads this, this is on you, this is on whoever put this on the menu, please relay to whomever put this on the menu and tell them to change it to actual kaarage chicken, the chicken itself was actually nice put this tempura batter is horrid."
