"We have been before and as per the 1st time, we loved walking around the stunning gardens. We met friends who were also having afternoon tea and the waitress was very accommodating, especially as we do not eat meat or shellfish. She was the only waitress on duty, but coped well (extra scones, sandwiches and tear were not a problem). The sandwiches were a little cold, but better that than too hot and wilting. A big plus was that there was easily enough jam and cream for the scones. Beautiful setting and lovely tea."
