"An intimate dinner for 4 between friends was unhappy when the service was unconsistent and sometimes upright. the restaurant was not busy. we sat in the bar area and beside a few at the bar and another at a table next to us it was empty the restaurant department was more busy but not full. there were 4-5 waiting staff, but we had to wait for a long time. I got this up with our waiter, tactical and political, and thought the service would actually make it even worse! we were quite ignored after that. some of the dishes like the pink ling katsu was delicious, but the portions were generally small. the bill came to over $600. all in all, not worth visiting. there is much better service, eat and portion size in melbourne!"

"I went to Kaneda with my two daughters. The food was really nice but when it was time to pay I was informed that there was an extra charge if I paid by card and there was more than 2 people eating????. We were 3 so I paid the extra charge. Also when I asked for a take away container to bring some left overs home, I was informed there was a 50 c charge for the container. I will not return there. Thanks"
