"Looked forward to a get together lunch with friends which turned out to be very special time but for me really spoilt by my choice of meal. I have to say the menu is good, really varied and extensive and it looked as if our...group enjoyed their meal. However i chose the Chicken scallopini which I have had before at other restaurants, but not served on a bed of mashed potato. I had the “half serve” so pleased I didn’t choose the main because my plate was covered with mashed potato, topped with the chicken fillets and mushroom sauce and I eventually found that the baby spinach which was on the menu was buried under all the mashed potato. The mushroom sauce just blended into the mashed potato so was almost non existent. I really think the Chef at Hogan’s should reconsider this dish, certainly the presentation."
