"We arrived today in Tavira and life was fairly quiet not unexpected after all it was a Sunday and just around 12. We sat down and had a couple of beers no issues whatsoever. The place got busier and we thought may as well stay for lunch. This is where the problems started. Service became painfully slow. We ordered prawns in garlic and to be fair our expectations were probably off piste. Eventually they arrive 6 giant prawns with some garlic chopped over them. They also forgot to bring the bread but didn’t forget to charge for it. The final straw was when when my good lady asked were the toilets where and the answer from the waiter was “kaput”. Not he best 40 euros ever spent so let’s hope things improve over the week."
