"Lovely restaurant, the place is simple but hygge, the service is great (funny people) and the kitchen delicious. Over the 5 courses menu from December, we were pleased with flavorful starters. I loved the potatoes and their bread fresh from the oven, the details and attention really make the difference. I must also mention the dessert with that mushroom ice-cream. Not everyone at the table liked it, but I did. I loved discovering new combinations of flavors. They know what they're doing and we taste it! I definitely recommend it, for the price it's a great experience! Only negative point was the door to the wardrobe. When it is not closed, the tables near that door get the smell from the toilet/pipes which wasn't appreciated. Maybe it is an issue that occurred only that day and is not recurrent."

"Although it was Friday before the winter holidays we managed to get a table to 2 without having booked. There is a special mood over the place, a time pocket where you step 30-40 years back in time. The food was very delicious and plentiful, the service friendly."

"The first thing to mention about Barr is its location: after crossing a bridge to reach a newly developed area, one comes across an old Danish building located practically over the water. Then, upon entering, the Nordic interior, where light wood, simplicity and stripping reign, is completely overshadowed by the heart of the environment: an immense and impeccable stainless steel kitchen populated by young and enthusiastic cooks to whom one does not you can stop observing. Finally, the food. We ordered the 4-course menu: makarell in foam, raw beef terrine and the fried pork chop. Everything was brilliantly made... ahhh and the panera; the bread far from being a companion, was another protagonist. Each dish came with its wine and each wine had its explanation: from some Austrian novelty to a classic Italian Barabera D'Asti; all of the paired perfectly If Copenhagen's food scene is the city's new big attraction, Barr is definitely one of its stars; because I left with what I came for: love for Nordic and quality gastronomy at every moment of the night."

"Great pancakes, we had both lunch and dessert. Both were great with tasty ingredients cooked to perfection. They carry Hancock beer on draft. The location is also very nice where you pass through a small ally away from the Main Street."
