"Great food, perfectly prepared, just the right amount of meat, lovely vegetables, a bit of starch. It may be a bit pricey, it's worth every penny!!! Can't go wrong here. Post (I hope) pandemic: Pro Bono is making up for lost time. With an outdoor parklet for cautious diners to an enlarged banquet area and lots of carefully distanced seating areas inside, the restaurant is being discovered again. Warming temperatures are encouraging larger numbers to show up. There are more large groups both inside and out, but the tables are spaced so as to allow other diners to feel safe. I'm attaching photos of a recent meal where I started eating before I thought of taking a picture (my apologies). It's braised short ribs (minus bones) and an artfully arrayed selection of vegetables, plus dessert apple pear cobbler. Delicious!!!"

"We had a great time at the River Crab on 4th of July. The weather was spectacular so we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a serene setting. Our waitress was attentive and met all our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and I have been spreading the word about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a big plus. We hope to come back for a sailboat ride and lunch now that is being offered during the week."

"We had eaten at Mikes almost weekly for many years prior to the remodel and Covid, and this is the first time we have been there in some time. The service was a little slow, but not a huge concern. The food however was clearly reheated frozen food, which was unpalatable. The salmon and the fish and chips had the mealy texture of fish which has been frozen for far too long, or perhaps it had been thawed and refrozen repeatedly. This was not the Mikes of the past which we had come to love. We look forward to reading about a management change or relaunch with positive reviews, after which we may give you another try."
