"Drove by this little gem and knew immediately I had to turn around and give them a try. I travel constantly for hockey and love to get to know the best local places for coffee. Let’s just say, if I lived in Omaha, this would be my coffee shop, hands down. Set off the street, they have it arranged so you can drive up and order at the window or still run in. Staff was so friendly and clearly they care about their coffee and customers. Their motto is “we run on laughter, love, and lots of coffee” I have no doubt that they have a huge following here. The coffee was rich and aromatic, solid flavor. The taste was just as good as the smell. They have plenty of other choices if black coffee is not your thing, but in my mind, coffee shops should be judged on their black coffee. Enough additives can make anything taste fine. But if you can serve a mean cuppa black coffee, you earned 5 stars."

"What a coffee house should be. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, and I don't need to leave home with an Apple laptop in tow in order to do my work or link to the Internet. Finally, I'm not a Gen X or Y'er. Yet I appreciate Caffeine Dreams, which is a magnate for younger coffee and tea drinkers. Customers have a nice selection of coffees, teas and other specialty drinks, plus pastries and sandwiches. The atmosphere is urban cool, with a multi-level interior and comfortable landscaped patio, which sometimes features live music. The mid-town location, adjacent to the Nebraska Medical Center, makes this a very popular meeting space."

"I give up on ever buying a cold brew from scooters again. Everytime I get one I get what tastes like when you brew a pot of coffee with a spoonful of coffee meaning it is extremely watered down coffee. I experience this at most scooters locations andnever have this issue at any other coffee shop. Never buy a cold brew from scooters it will disappoint you for sure."

"This is going to be a new go - to for me. I stopped by today for lunch after seeing the write up in the World Herald. The restaurant is clean and inviting and the staff is friendly. They don't have a printed menu, which kind of annoys me. You stare at a wall and try and figure out what you want. I ordered the Cuban. I love Cuban sandwiches. Came with a side, of which I choose a house salad. $9.70 for full sandwich and side. The food took about average time to arrive. Took a bite of the salad. No dressing. Went up to counter and asked if there was supposed to be dressing on side salad. She gave me a side of pink stuff in a cup. That was the best tasting pink stuff EVER. The sandwich was just alright - the pork wasn't very flavorful, and using provolone on a Cuban is a sin. Get some swiss, people! But it was the little side salad that could which saved the day. Now give me a gallon of that pink stuff!"
