"Le quartier ne paye pas de mine et le restaurant non plus...mais l'habit ne fait pas le moine ! c'est présentement (comme disent les québécois) un excellent restaurant pour qui souhaite manger sainement et avec des saveurs géniales.Nous avons mangé le midi et même pris ce qu'il fallait pour le repas du soir tant nous avons été conquis :Les salades sont composés de produits parfaitement travaillés et surtout le mélange des crudités, des céréales (et oléagineux) et des sauces maisons donnent un goût hors du commun. Les smoothies et jus de fruits frais sont à tomber par terre.Le personnel est courtois,avenant et sympathique. Attention le soir c'est fermé !Merci pour ce bon moment, nous reviendrons !"

"One of the things I wanted to experience on our trip to Quebec was a sugar shack. If for no other reason than it just seemed like a fun thing to do and it was! They offered a carriage ride around the grounds and...the atmosphere was jovial and friendly. The food was okay but a good variety and all you can eat for a good price. We enjoyed the accordion music and traditional songs. I even got to accompany on the spoons for a few minutes. Very fun! My main criticism is that we had no idea what we were doing and there was no attempt made to let us know (as English speakers) what to do or where to go a little confusing. The seats are assigned but we had no idea and sat in the wrong place. So, if you go, make sure you find out where to check in and find your seats. I also would have enjoyed some sort of short tour on the harvesting of the maple syrup. Overall a good time just be prepared to go along with the flow."

"This is modern buzzy fascinating unpretentious restaurant minimalist with small touch of decor. It is not trying to be smart, but creates a modern almost bistro cafe appearance to downplay that it means business when it comes to its kitchen We took the four-course surprise menu, although they kindly allowed us the cheese board as we felt dessert was quite rich, how often the case in Canada that I find strange where the previous dishes are so tender. As Pescevores we enjoyed the octopus and cod both beautifully presented and cooked to perfection with subtle shrimp. As a non-candier we are struggling with the application of the service, as it contradicts whether you pay the service to taxes and for wine, which is not prepared and we have been presented here with various perspectives, but it has not distracted from a great evening."

"I ordered the chicken(poullet) poutine. It was pretty tasty although I think the chicken was processed. I loved the limonade but kind of pricey. Overall, a good afternoon break."

"Au pays de la poutine, cela fait du bien de pouvoir manger des choses saines... et ici, il n'y a que ça. En plus, c'est délicieux, alors que demander de plus ? Salades, wraps, jus et smoothies, etc, tout ce que nous avons goûté était bon. Et bio. Et vegan, même si ce n'était pas forcément ce que nous recherchions : en tout cas, cela nous a permis de constater que vegan pouvait rimer avec savoureux."
