"Acai deli and juice bar have a menu of sandwiches, smoothies and juices. the first thing that turned out was the attentive service. I ordered a veggie sandwich and to go juice. I was at this place twice and would go again. the decor is modern, there is wifi and a beautiful view of the road. they do not take cards, make sure they have cash, pesos. for the portion size the prices are low. parking can be a challenge in this area; it is best to park on a side street."

"Every dish is fresh and either organic or natural. They adjust dishes to your dietary needs. The smoothies are large and the fruits and vegetables used in all the juices and shakes are fresh and ripe. There are several chicken and fish options on dinner, salads and sandwiches for the carnivores. The fresh snapper is gently grilled and delicately spiced. I recommend tacos camarone and enchiladas queso panela with green sauce if you want something rich. Breakfast egg choices are numerous and served all day and includes a HUGE fresh ripe fruit plate with either yogurt or cottage cheese. The service is exceptional for this area. There are large windows with lots of light. Conveniently located near several alternative medical clinics with plenty of parking."

"I found this place by accident, we ware looking another vegan stand and found them... I'm glad I did. This has been our vegan friendly place to calm our sweet cravings. This donuts are baked (I think because are not greasy and have fluffy inside. The topping are great, chocolate, vainilla, cinnamon (my new favorite flavor , lemon, a Simpson donut (doh! . The price is less than a 1 dlls (10 pesos . They have smoothies but haven had the chance to taste them, maybe next time. And note is that you have to eat the donuts the same day or at the most next day because they became hard."

"They have a small menu of vegan options, which I have tasted every dish and they are all great. My favorite is the vegan burger, it’s full of flavor! I have had many vegan burgers, but this one is the best I have ever had."

"We thought last week it was a traditional teahouse, we were wrong. It's nothing close. It is a cross between an ice cream parlour, a small children's play house and throw a small tea to add the name. Yes, it...serves teas, not the traditional style of English teahouses I was used. But more like a place for snacking various salads, some entrances and deserts. The place is like a pink and white palace in the old Farrell's ice stores that were formerly around. But the place on the lower floor looks as if they were just cramped everything they found that would fit in such a small space. A person in a wheel chair would never be able to pass through. On the stairs there are more rooms, and decorated in the same pink and white. The whole place is easy to stun. Now we come to the right review, to the food. They serve smoothies, regular drinks and tea. The mango smoothie tasted like medicine and after a few minutes separated and was terrible, I beg it removed from bill and never received an answer. Tea was good, but don't stand out. This is not a traditional English tea house or even a normal tea house. You might have been on a day or something. If tea was the main attraction here, as the name implies, they would have put the tea on the table and maybe talked at the table or on the Thier menu about the different teas and a small story of them. This place is really not a teahouse, so they should remove these words from the signage. This place is a mix of ideas that most women think as they play little girls house / tea in their room. That's nice if you want the memory. I enjoy the decor, but was very disappointing with the whole teahouse idea, which was indicated by the name. Okay, back on course, the salads were good, the carrot soup was great. The beef plate I had was a top Mexican plate that wasn't unusual. The other dishes we ordered were normal Mexican dishes that you would find in almost any Mexican restaurant. No special sauces or surprises. There is potential here and we will return in a while to give them a second chance. But don't expect a traditional TEA HOUSE. Next time we're looking for it as a snack snack for the desert."

City: Tijuana, Paseo Pedregal #2031 Secc. Dorado, Playas de Tijuana Tijuana, Tijuana, Mexico
"Playas de Tijuana is a mostly residential neighborhood in the extreme north-west corner of Tijuana; it's pushed right up against the fence that divides Mexico and the United States. A bit out of the main commercial part of it though is Laihoo's. When you drive into Playas, the main street is Paseo Ensenada. You follow it to the first traffic light which is Paseo Pedregal. You turn left and continue on passing the city government buildings, fire station and sports field. A couple of blocks beyond the sports field and just before you reach the Oxxo Laihoo's will be on your right. You can spot it thanks to the string of red Chinese paper lanterns hanging outside. One of this place's claims to fame (but by no means its only one) is the home-baked biscuits. These are served with a variety of fillings both savory and sweet. But many other delicious baked goods are available too. There is a tempting display right in the front window that's impossible to pass up. Looking in at it makes your mouth water with anticipation. The menu consists primarily of very fresh healthy things (like fruit smoothies, fresh fruit salads, etc.) and traditional Mexican diner food (enchiladas, sopes, Milanesa, etc.) Everything is fresh and well prepared and service is stellar. The place is tiny but charming and the staff is pleasant, caring and there to serve. They are delightful. When you first sit down they bring a plate with a selection of pastries. You consume what you want and leave the rest and are charged accordingly. I have to confess that it took all my will power to resist the pastries and concentrate on lunch. (I did buy a bag of pastries to take home, though, to be enjoyed later this evening.)I started with a chicken sope (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sope). The order normally comes with three of them but I wanted my main dish to be the Milanesa (breaded beef steak) so I asked if I could have just one sope to taste and they were more than willing to satisfy my request. The sope was delicious because the fried dough itself was just crispy enough where needed to be and soft and fluffy elsewhere. The chicken too was home-baked and hand-shredded. Very tasty. The Milanesa was super. Mega-thin steak, perfectly breaded and fried with spectacular fried potatoes, beans and green salad as sides. This is definitely a place worthy of repeat visits. I intend to return and bring friends with me. It's a hidden gem tucked into a residential section of a off-the-beaten-track residential neighborhood in Tijuana that's well worth a visit. If you are headed to Rosarito/Ensenada on the scenic highway, detour into Playas before you hit the highway and try out this place. You won't regret it."
