"This is the marina cafe, it has just changed hands and branched out into good lunches and dinners as well as breakfasts.We had the Lamb shanks special for an early dinner. Great stuff. The shanks were huge. The Mint and Rosemary sauce was delightful. The roast potatos were nicely cooked. All for $20 in Airlie, almost unheard of.To top it off they have a great range of puddings and good coffee.They don't open late and are BYO (bottle shop 4 doors away)Not the Hilton but who cares.Open from 6am-8pm"

"Just before 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, restaurant was only half full, but they must have been underoccupied because the waiters were out of their feet. Even still we were brought cold water immediately without demand and the waiter returned within 10 minutes to take our order. You have a seperate vegan menu (on request) for both breakfast (available all day) and lunch (available from 11 am). We ordered the Vegan Burger and a Vegano sandwich on white bread (other options available). Food was brought out in about 20 minutes, the burger was delicious and the pumpkin was a nice supplement, but it fell apart after two bites. The sandwich was also good, but would have been better roasted. Friends were also very good. All in all, it is great that they have a dedicated vegan menu, but by reading through the ingredients, it is clear that they have only seen what they are currently in stock that is vegan and put them together to make some vegan meals, I.e. mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes and pumpkin function in a lot of dishes and there is no free milk cheese or mock meat well processed for those who try to avoid sitting. as a secondary note; the burger was served on a wooden board and while not normally a concern for me, it had a great crack in it, which gave me the ability to clean properly and in turn, it is the suitability for serving food.
