"This was our second visit to Trace. It was as amazing as I remembered. Our meal was incredible! The staff was prompt and delightfully friendly! They even included a surprise aniversary dessert; Which Must've been made in outer space. Because it was out of this world delicious! We look forward to our next visit!"

"Excellent New York style pizza right here in Austin. The lunch options are very affordable and I had a slice of pizza and a great salad. The pizza is not greasy and the crust is soft. It is a small shop so I'd get it to go if you have a large party. Luckily, we beat the lunch rush because all the tables were full as we were leaving."

"To talk about a dish in special on north by northwests menu, would be a sin because everything is so delicious. the quality of eating, followed by the service and the trips, makes north by northwest one of the best restaurants, without doubt, in the city . david, the greener, its right hand cassey and the rest of the team are responsible to make the difference. two customers are very happy about osso and bucco."

"#7 stop in our Texas Monthly 50 Bbq Challenge.<br/ <br/ Did dinner. This place is like a Rudy's in format.<br/ <br/ You walk in, get in line and snake past the bottles of beer and wine, etc. Then you dish out your choices of sides (the potato salad is exempletory). Then you hsve one of the folks cut off your meats (which you pay for by the pound or portion thereof) and place them on your tray. Select sodas if desired and then you pay after which you carry your tray to a table and consume your purchases.<br/ <br/ The sign says 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 lb portions. Don't believe it. You can select as much or as little of many of the things as you want. The sausage however is sold by the link and the ribs by the rib. You pay according to weight which includes the bone.<br/ <br/ Observations:<br/ <br/ The ribs were good, well prepared and tasty.<br/ <br/ The turkey was excellent with lots of flavor and well smoked. Thought it was the tastiest of the meats.<br/ <br/ The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and very flavorful. Another great choice.<br/ <br/ The sausage was nice and course with good flavor. Definatly worth getting a link and splitting it among a group of two or three.<br/ <br/ The beans were smoky and tasty.<br/ <br/ The cole slaw was good.<br/ <br/ The potato salad was stellar. It was made with redskin potatoes (with the skin on). It had a nice chunky consistency with a creamy mayo-like base and seemed to have black pepper, salt, green onion, and cilantro among its ingrediants. Did not detect mustard which made for a different and very tasty offering.<br/ <br/ Service through the line was personable and efficient. Folks were knowledgable and efficient."
