"A Perfect Night. Organised my husbands 40th birthday here last Sat. I was really happy with everything. Was a full house but comfortable. We had a table of 22 near the dance floor which was perfect. Plenty of food the fish was particularly nice. Dips and dolmathes were lovely and you could tell they were home made. Band played both Greek and English which was good as i had non Greeks in our group. My friends love dancing so Im glad we came here!"

"Got my order wrong then proceeded to argue with me saying that I ordered incorrectly. So very rude. I even told them I would still pay for it but worst attitude I've received. Shop is dirty and old looking too. Wheelchair accessibility: nothing there for wheel cheer access, theres a step that gets in the way before entering. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Large Pizzas"

"Finished class at uni for the day and thought thank god it’s Friday..... so hey, why don’t we try TGIF southbank rushed in to escape the blistering cold Melbourne weather and was greeted at the door with a very welcoming smile no booking but the waiter was swift to reset a table! It was like a typical Wednesday night passing practice for the workers at TGIF, construction with the 6, into the 10s, through to the 9. Honestly it was a pleasure to watch! We were super hungry so just a couple of entrees to start calamari chicken wings were super and the Beef ribs with a tangy Texas BBQ sauce were full of flavour and fell effortlessly off the bone! The service was very friendly and always so attentive. Shout out to our waiter on the night. Didn’t quite grab his name upon departure but he certainly went above and beyond in every aspect to make our experience a pleasant one!"

"Nostalgia was abound. My husband and I regularly visited Doncaster TGI’s as uni students and delighted in their refillable soft drinks. It’s had a reno since, and while our food repertoire has vastly expanded since it was nice to revisit our old stomping ground.<br/ <br/ The portions are sizeable, owing to the American diner style concept. They are quite renowned for the steaks with Jack Daniels sauce and hundreds of franchises around the world can’t be wrong so we decided to try it today. I actually found the steak a bit overcooked but that was perhaps to be expected ordering rare in this type of place.<br/ <br/ Next time (if there is a next time) I’ll go for the Mexican style dishes"

"First time dining at this restaurant. Had to ask for drinking glasses for the soft drinks we ordered. As it had been a very hot day, it would have been nice to have a cold bottle of water presented at our table; again, we had to ask.<br/ Restaurant acoustics are such that a group of louder diners made it challenging to hear and talk.<br/ Booked for four adults (7:00 pm and finished our dessert at 8:45 pm. Restaurant was definitely not full. So, the service itself was not that fast.<br/ However, these [minor] negatives aside, the service we did received was very friendly and efficient.<br/ All of the food we ordered was hot and wonderfully delicious. (The honey chicken was that best I have tasted. <br/ Our usual restaurant in Mooroolbark closed down some time ago and we have found it quite difficult to find a suitable replacement. Fortunately, as a result of our eating experience at Fortune Palace, we have now marked this restaurant down as our new “Go To” place for Chinese dining.<br/ The menu (also available as Takeaway is quite extensive and reasonably priced. I’m pleased that the pricing is not based on the quality of the foods, if that were the case, I feel they could easy double their charges!"

"We were in on Saturday. I have never seen the food so empty. They seemed to have nothing on the shelves with one side being almost completely empty. No Wraps, no salmon salad plates, no potato salad, no cinnamon buns, no garlic bread and not much of anything. They were either short staffed or just couldn't be bothered. The meals we had were below average at best. It use to be so much better but ive noticed it really not nearly as good as it use to be. Dissapointed."
