"I went to this place for the second time tonight. Last time was on a Wednesday and they didn't have a lot of special fish. The chef said they will get fresh fish tomorrow. It makes sense. Usually sushi restaurants get their fresh fish on Thursday to get rest for the weekend. But tonight was actually worse. We ordered a bunch of things. The fried chicken livers were good. The fried soft shell crab appetizer was good but the fried noodles on top were very stale. The miso soup was old like from two days ago. The chirashi was terrible. The rice was stale and the yellowtail and the salmon were discolorated old. Overall, this was not an experience from a sushi place that has a Japanese sushi chef. That's probably why the place isn't that busy. Our bill was $110 and I tipped $20 because the service was good. Will probably not go here again."

"Outstanding experience!! Arrived early around 5:30 on a Saturday night, seated immediately, staff were super friendly and attentive, dishes were fantastic she crab bisque, oysters on the 1/2 shell, fried soft shell crab, and finished off with delicious homemade banana pudding. Will definitely patronize again the next time I?m in the area. Highly recommend this FANTASTIC family owned operated restaurant!"

"Nothing like the one on Ferrel Pkwy. Fish was not seasoned and I asked for Cajun fries, I received dry unseasoned fries thrown in a little bag. They could have at least put some salt on it. This was my first and last visit."
