"Yummy Thai food on k road! Would recommend the crispy pork belly main and the chicken wings! Succulent and melt in your mouth with a nice amount of chili and basil leaves! The Chiang mai curried fried noodles were tasty with a thick coconut like broth but I felt it didn’t pair well with thick egg noodles. Too many crispy noodles on top which made it hard to eat. Overall yummy food! Will be back!"

"I have to say I was impressed with most of what we ordered but very disappointed with one dish... My favourite would be the beef brisket bao: probably the best bao I've had! The beef brisket is slow cooked and then seared, extremely smoky and peppery, topped with gochujang and Kimchi. The Bun itself was really soft and springy and had a slight sweet aftertaste which brought all the flavours together.<br/>The dish I was disappointed with was the curry soup chicken Confit: it tasted like watered down jap curry that you can get at the Asian supermarket, with boiled chicken (which was very tender at least). The veges seemed to be baked? That made the eggplant skin cardboard-like and the enoki mushrooms dry and shriveled. The veges were bland and had 0 seasoning.<br/>I guess I'd only confidently come here just for their bao"

"If you want to have a get together with friends , then this a very good place to be in Auckland CBD . Food was average , Service was good , staff was very polite and swift . some nice Wines are there, Whiskey options are limited, beer is mostly Tiger, other might be available , but the day i went there , they were offering Tiger Pitchers."

"Went there on a Tue night and couldn't believe how busy and vibey it was. Amazing location right on the waterfront, incredible interior decor (especially the jungle-like bathrooms). The service was friendly and attentive and the food variety and taste was so divine. Would definitely go back there."

"Just smashed a fish roll from you guys with a side of the twice cooked chips. Not only was my order prepared extremely fast but the food itself was amazing. The soft fresh bun, crispy fish, aioli with the fennel and watercress garnish to finish... I'll probably be back in tomorrow. Thanks team, keep up the good work!"

"Food was great, we got a range of the small plates items including the soft shell crab, satay chicken, caramelised pork belly, spring roll and the papaya salad. All were great, I especially loved the caramelised pork so soft and the fat just melted in your mouth. Food also came out really quick, especially because there were two large groups also ordering food. 100% recommend, I’ll definitely be back for a BYO night with friends!"

"Located in the Pitt St food court, Hobson Sushi has a great selection of fresh sushi and hot food. Their healthier choices such as brown rice and katsu salads are also great options. <br/ <br/ My favourites are the soft shell crab sushi, smoked salmon sushi and the takoyaki. Bonus points for the owners remembering that I love extra pickled ginger :"
