"Had some hopes in view of some positive reviews, but from the moment they go and see the menus they have their doubts. literal 2 minutes noodle, in a bladder broth, with preserved garnish and tasteless fat pork/rib. edamame directly from the microwave. no char or salt. the worst was the deep-fried gyoza. I mean, come on, who doesn't know how to cook potstickers. zero authenticity, student dinner best. go 100m in every direction and find them much better eating."

"For some reason there was a craving for duck. Maybe it was just that I hadn't had Peking duck for a very long time and the memories of China and my favourite duck of all time in London was on my mind. Luckily Mr. Wei's not only specialises in Beijing duck but also conveniently has an Entertainment Book 25% coupon. Baby eggplant I thought that for a balanced meal with vegetables, fried eggplant was a good idea. It was a decent mix of sauce and fried eggplant whilst waiting for the duck, but largely unnecessary; Beijing duck a whole duck is a huge amount for 2 people. The duck skin wasn't particularly crisp (which was a bit disappointing) and had a small fat layer (less than is traditional but more than I probably prefer for eating without picking it off) and reasonably soft meat. Once wrapped up, it was a nice combination without having an overly memorable duck flavour; Duck soup this was a delicious strongly flavoured duck broth (like I'd want my duck congee to taste) with tofu, vegetables and meat. On a cold night, this was hearty and soul warming; Duck fried rice the filler dish that was more. Duck fatty meat and skin pieces bringing flavour and fragrance to fried rice. Much better than expected. Overall although the duck wasn't as good as I'd hoped (or expected), the overall meal was lifted very well by the soup and fried rice. I'll definitely be back with my next Entertainment Book voucher. I wouldn't get the extra entree next time."

"Hazel was very lovely made us feel welcome straightaway when we entered the restaurant. Food was quite authentic esp the Tteokbokgi which had a nice hint of gojuchang chilli in it. Fried chicken was ok, chips were too well done.. Food wasn’t served together, there was a bit of a wait in between dishes. Maybe they had a lot of takeaway orders but overall quite happy with the food, service pricing. The restaurant was quite clean pleasant to dine in. Will be back again for sure!"

"Although located in the heart of town, it is unlikely that we would have discovered this little Taiwanese restaurant had it not been for Zomato because it is tucked away out of sight off the main road. Having now dined there, I understand why it has received so many glowing reviews.

It's not a fancy place; walk through a flyscreen door into a room with simple canteen-style furniture. There is plenty of natural light through windows wrapped around the restaurant and a pleasant outlook. In a lot of ways, it is very homely and the kids even commented that it smelled like grandma's kitchen.

The lady behind the counter was just the sweetest and even gave us a discount on our second order of bubble milk tea.

We had the fried chicken fillet with rice, Taiwanese fried chicken nuggets with rice and beef noodle soup. The food was served quickly and it was all so delicious. The chicken dishes deserve special mention - the chicken was tender and succulent with a super crunchy and well seasoned coating. And at $12 a dish, is a very affordable and great value meal.

The bubble tea is possibly the best we have ever had. Made with real tea and fresh milk, it is not as sweet as the chain store offerings and infinitely superior in taste. It was so good we had to go back for more!"

"My man and I were introduced a few years ago by friends who lived in canberra, in kopi tiam, but now living in sydney. this Malaysian restaurant has become a rendezvous favorit when our friends return to canberra for a visit and it is not a surprise why. the menu is tempting and eating is always fresh and tasty. the personal is attentive and friendly. the restaurant is cozy with indoor and outdoor seats and in winter outdoor baby and heating are available. highly recommended for a delicious, healthy eating and the banquet option is great value"
