"Today I want to share with them my favourite restaurant in garland. I've been here since 2016. the dishes always taste the same! here are my experiences about these 3 dishes that I had.1 eier noodles with winton is delicious? the noodles are kind of crispy and chewing, just like I had them in cho lon when I was small. wontons are packed with tasteful pork and garnel. is also highly recommended the dried version of the plate (which is with suppe on the side).2 baked rice flour cake with eggs (bt chin) is one of the main foods of the road in cho lon. I had this court in both styles, Vietnamese and Cantonese. I have to say that the canton style is better. rice cakes are pressed (very important step) and fried for perfection! they immerse them in spicy soy sauce with hot oil increase this plate to another level.3 wok fried pasta with cube steak (nui xo b is another street food popular in vietnam. the best pasta to make this dish, must be the arcade because they are short. also the cantonese version of this plate uses only tweepers and cube steak, while the Vietnamese version tomaten will have ground bark. with the wok pan to infuse and pack every taste in the arc is critical for this plate. dong hai restaurant has an extraordinary task to deliver the original taste for me. the owner is very attentive, helpful and friendly. if you all look for authentic cho lon or KowLoon ways, I would say give them a try to this place. it is also great to support local shops such as dong hai restaurant. the prices are reasonable. next time will I stir the crispy nodes fry (m xo dn)?"

"Not sure why this place has such low ratings but I absolutely enjoyed our experience here (even though it was a bit expensive) the service was impeccable. All of their sauces had amazing flavor (and there were so many different sauces to try) I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the Dallas area. I loved their exquisite menu of amazing ingredients not found at any other restaurants. Pro tip: for the salad ask them for the sauce on the side- they put a little too much for me."

"I’ve come to this place twice and where do I start? A small restaurant with the biggest welcoming service! Despite being just fast food the owner treats his customer with care. I couldn’t be happier! Last time I ordered fried rice and steamed dumplings and it was so good that I asked another customer to try it out and he ended up ordering 2 sets of dumplings 8ea). The plain fried rice is not just plain fried rice. It was real fried rice with vegetables! Cheap fried rice will more likely be pre-made and just sitting there on top of a steamer heater waiting to be served. My hot sour soup was so delicious that only if I wasn’t so full from the rest of the food I’d take 1 more bowl! What made it stands out is he kept his menus minimal. His dishes are signature dishes. Who likes going to a restaurant with 50+ items on the menu to choose from?? Seriously?? The more items you have the lower the standard! I told the owner in a friendly manner that I’m going to the gym later and right now needs something to fill me up. He got me a huge vegetable fried rice and fried shrimp and on top of that he gave me a hot Chinese tea because it was so cold outside. He even recommended some good source of protein for me as well. Despite him working by himself he was able to take the time and perform his duties efficiently in a timely matter. Outstanding service! I will definitely come back. For those who has not tried this place I strongly recommend it. Don’t miss out!"

"Looking for Chinese cuisine in the area. This is your place. The place is clean, the server was attentive and the prices are economical. The egg drop soup is good. If you dont like soy sauce dont order fried rice. If I go again, I would get my garlic sauce on the side. It was good with my shrimp and scallops but it was to much, especially if you are weight conscious."

"First time back since Covid. I have to say this is the best Chinese Cantonese Restaurant in DFW. Their wonton egg noodle soup is crunchy and flavorful. From crawfish fried rice to crispy cheese prawn to rice cake omelette, everything is delicious. I can’t wait to come back again."
