"We visited Royal Siam Thai for our first time. First times always last, and this first time certainly will. Our starters were delivered quickly and prepared our taste buds for our next course. The mains didn't disappoint either. All of our courses were perfectly cooked, so very well presented for what we've come to know how Thai in SA is usually served, hot and most importantly, wonderfully tasty! Service was quick, polite, professional and with the quality of dishes, along with our waiter and the owner, this all sealed the deal for another visit. If we weren't so satisfied we would have ordered takeaway! Ambiance and decor is soothing and fitting for the style. Well appointed."

"*Parking here can be a bit of a challenge. There is a parking lot a few minutes down the street but that fills up pretty quickly too. If you want to take the risk you can illegally park outside the restaurant but be warned that the traffic police make their rounds frequently here so you need to be very aware of the situation outside. Ambience: It’s the typical kopitiam style of environment. So think sitting on a plastic chair and table and just shifting around other people to walk around. Service: Nothing to complaint about, as they try to meet everyone’s order as well as they can. The restaurant staff is also diligent in ensuring that drinks orders are taken and met quickly. Food: Pretty good! Although I haven’t managed to try Oh Chiens in other Penang stores due to the limited time I had, I can safely say this is definitely one of the best I’ve had so far anywhere. There was some inconsistency in the taste I had when I went 2 times however, as the first time was crispier while the 2nd time was more watery. Price: Reasonably priced, as it costs around RM12 for a small dish of Oh Chien (Doesn’t look that small tbh). Considering the quality you are getting this is also pretty reasonable. Conclusion: Would I come back here for this? I’ve already answered by question above and undoubtedly I would if I come back to Penang. This is definitely one of the best ones I’ve had."

"One of my favourite restaurant to visit. The wonton mee sold here tastes fresh. It's different from normal wonton mee sold anywhere in penang, normal wonton mee rely on the taste of the soy sauce very much, but the wonton mee here rely the taste of the sweet taste of broth prepared of fresh meats and prawns. the noodle is made themselves too. Any other meals on the menu tastes extraordinary too, you can try fried rice, dried hor fan and hong tou mee. If you ask me to recommend something you must eat in Penang, I'll gladly include this in the list."

"Love the mixed rice. From non spicy dishes to crazy spiciness level. Those going for curry I suggest mix abit of thick soy sauce based gravy on the side. The mix is not only good but if u find it too spicy it will reduce the heat. Fried keoh teow(fettucini like flat rice noodle) also good"
