"You would expect with an a la carte menu and choosing from that, the suggested recommendations, that I'd get it right. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the seabass (30e), it was a bit tough, not what I'm used to. Chowder was a miss too. Cheese board was grand. Wine list very good. "Have been here twice and really like the atmosphere. The main guy is full of enthusiasm and really helps you choose what you're going to eat. The fact that it's BYO means it doesn't break the bank! The food is always full of taste and a pleasure to eat, although the portion sizes (particularly for the starters) are in my opinion a little bigger than they need to be!"
