"I go weeky to Carolina Cafe with my running group. Great food and environment. Most of the employees treat you like family. They have outside seating for sunny days. One surprise is their chicken soup. Like grandma makes, so delicious."

"Great food, great atmosphere, great decoration and great style. It's a Mexican AMERICAN restaurant. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not sure if the owner, cook or cooks are Mexican, but the food was authentic, but modern. The authentic taste was there, but it was different. Authentic in the sense that it resembles Mexican street food, but unlike this street food, it is not so cheap. To be honest, there are some of the best Mexican food I had in the area. The ambience is ideal for a date or dinner with the family. The special drink Spicy Pepino was refreshing and not so spicy. Also the Queso, Guac and Salsa with chips is great. I tried to order the Carne asada tacos in a Spanish / Mexican accent and was corrected with his English/American pronunciation, which was difficult to enforce. This restaurant received no perfect touch because the authenticity of Mexican cuisine and culture was good, but something felt missing. But I don't know what. I am Mexican and grew up eating Mexican food in Mexico and on the west coast."
