"Nestor and his wife will host you in their restaurant and serve you a simple menu of the day with few alternatives which are cooked very carefully and very well presented. We had fish, chicken and alpaca, all of good quality. The welcome we had from the couple was particularly warm."

"This is, as has been noted, a tourist buffet catering to busses and groups on the route to the Colca Canyon. Ordinarily, buffet , and tourists would be enough to stop reading, even before getting to busses but the surprise is this was a worthwhile and interesting stop for lunch on the road. Our driver from Colca to Arequipa suggested we stop here, and I am glad we did. the restaurant is clean, has great banos, and offers a lengthy buffet of regional Peruvian dishes. The soups were great, and a variety was offered. All the food was fresh and hot, with a range of tastes available, ending with fruit. This may not be a destination restaurant, but the meal we had here and the service were better than we received that night at a high end and highly prices restaurant in Arequipa. The woman in charge was also a delight, and very helpful."
