"This Farolito location has been in service for many years, and the dining room certainly shows its age. The quality remains high with delicious pastor meat, one of the most tender and flavorful pastors I have tried. The prices are a bit high. We paid almost 400 pesos for 5 pastor tacos, a ham torta, a chicken soup, and three jamaica waters."

"Mis amigos, do youselfs a favour! If in Mexico City and if you love streak and if you love a superb dining experience .... visit here. Today I visited with 6 friends and we dined like kings and queens. Never have I experienced the kind...of service and attention to detail in every aspect of the meal and presentation that I did on this afternoon. I enjoyed the 300 gm filet migon, cooked rare and it was magical. Such a delicate cook, it melted in my mouth with a tenderness that is hard to master. Paired with a superb Cruz Alta 2015 Malbec reserve and sides to share, it was a sublime experience. In passing the Papas Souffl were unlike anything I have eaten, a unique air infused potato dish, it was freaking ridiculous and alone worth the visit. The desserts were unreal with the fried bananas stealing the show. Finally, we enjoyed one of the finest tequilas to top of this 3 hour life changing gastronomic experience."

"Looking for low-cost tasty bites in the upscale Zona Rosa? Seek no further! This place is justifiably famous for its rapid service that does not belie its quality, authentic food. The chicharonnes - succulant enough to make W weep -witl come automatically to your table- be sure to let them know if you DO NOT want them or the tasty guacamole that an also instantly appears. They are totally worth the extra pesos though. I took on the recommended flauta de res and the cochinita pibil tacos - a Yucatecan specialty. Come hungry, my friend, and you will be amply satisfied for a paltry few pesos."

"After doing some online research, we decided to walk to the neighborhood surrounding the metro stop for dinner and visit La Casa De Los Abuelos, a chain of restaurants in Mexico that offers a standardized menu and is reminiscent of a upscale Denny’s or Applebee’s. Entering the lobby with lots of seating for waiting customers, we were ushered to a booth in the middle of the large dining room for our meal. The waitress spoke a fair amount of English and with the menu likewise, we easily came to a decision about our order, starting with a large bowl of a standard Mexican soup, the Pozole Pollo, a tomato broth-based concoction that while very filling, it was pretty bland. Next up were our entrees, the a Pechuga Empanizada, breaded chicken breast, for Joanna and the salad Miriam for me. Both had more than adequate portion sizes and honestly, we again ordered way too much food to thoroughly enjoy the meal. The quality was good, but in hindsight, much like a meal at any large chain in America, there was nothing memorable about the meal. Leaving quite a bit of food on the plates, we did enjoy a decent flan and in the end were pleased overall with the meal, primarily because it was in a touristy location and came to just 473 Pesos $24.33). As they don’t serve alcohol, that helped to keep the tab down but still, for the amount of food we consumed, eating for under $25 is what anyone would call a bargain."

"Good authentic aromas when they lack Asian food. the sum was legit. hot sauce was a little on the acid side for my taste. it would have been nice to have their own vinegar, soy sauce and chili paste to mix."
