"It 's a gem hidden underneath a private home at the side of the road in alvarenga. the service was very good and the beef, which is the dish of the house, was superb. we ordered 350 grams for 2, as the beef is priced by weight (32 euros per kilo) and we were glad we only ordered that because the appetizers were amazing and by the time the platter of beef got to the table we were already full. however, the look and smell of the food in front of us quickly returned out appetite and we dug in. it was a beatiful cut of meat, juicy and tender, with some lovely pan juices. we had the nerve to then order dessert as it all looked amazing and it didn 't disappoint. we were truly happy with this meal as food should make you. it is not fine dining but good, honest, home made food and a great experience. when the bill came we were amazed we just had a feast and our bill didn 't even reach 30 euros!"
