"Tucked away at the rear of Westgate Gallery this wonderful little eatery got us returning. The place is light and airy, with lots of the ‘for sale’ art hanging on the walks, this gives a great ambiance. The staff were happy and polite, and sevice was swift. The food was delicious. Ham and cheese and Tuna toasties, hot and yummy. A really welcoming place that we returned too a few days later. We even bought some art!! Highly recommended"

"Arrived at East Linton at 16.05 this aftrn, after a long drive, desperate for coffee cake. Came across this wee cafe delighted to see that still opened more importantly that they allowed dogs to come in, exactly what we needed !! Service was delightful, speedy the coffee cakes were gorgeous. Don't drive past this wee gem when you are next in East Linton or indeed on the A1 within the area."

"The Loft was recommended and I'm so glad that we went. Such a lovely, rustic place, with a really nice atmosphere. We recieved a very friendly welcome and we're seated right away. The girl who served us was friendly and helpful and took our order as soon as we were ready. The drinks came quickly and didn't take long for the food. We both had the ploughman's, which was just beautiful. Large portions, with top quality food. The home baked ham was delicious, as was the sweet chutney. The oatcakes were homemade and so delicious. When we left we took home s couple of cakes too, as the bakery was irresistible! We'll definitely be back!"
