"I am not a very picky person (as you can see from previous reviews), however, this is one of my least favorite meals. I ordered the coconut aguachiles, mushroom tinga, and mushroom quesadilla. The aguachiles had virtually no flavor, and really needed salt and lime. Honestly, it didn’t taste anything like I remembered. The mushroom quesadilla came on a sauce that I just personally did not enjoy. The mushroom tinga was the best dish of the night, but again it wasn’t mind blowing. There are so many better vegan options in Hillcrest and San Diego, I just would not recommend choosing this place unless someone non veg really wanted to come. The food unfortunately doesn’t taste nearly as good as it looks. The service is also spotty. The person offering water and cleaning the tables was very kind, the waiter was not rude but not friendly either. Side note: my family ordered the non veg menu and also did not enjoy their food. "LA COCINITA DE FLOR is the best taco truck in San Diego. Next to rally’s. The place is clean and plenty of parking. Chef’s, owner and workers are very kind and welcoming. Food quality and price is outstanding! Taco Tuesday deals is my favorite! We ordered catering as well and the price is unbeatable. Amazing authentic tacos!"

"Found this spot one night searching for ceviche. I still have not had the ceviche, but it's because we are obsessed with the picsa and red sangria! I knew the moment I saw the word Picsa that something good was happening. Everything we've ordered has been the kind of tasty that means maybe you won't be going on that after-dinner walk, because you couldn't stop grazing after you swore you were full. This is the new date night go-to, and the things we have done to our guts are unspeakable...the side salads alone are a full meal."

"Taco Tuesdays! 99 cent mini tacos, 4 makes a nice meal. Everyone had adobado, asada, carnitas and pollo. Everybody was great. Full lunch with soda for less than $6. Absolutely come back."
