"What a gem! Tiny little Vietnamese place on Hornby St with delicious and cheap food. If you are looking for a quick, clean place to eat, this is it. I have been here a couple of times already and will keep coming back."

"Dismay setting. Place isn't very clean to begin with. As soon as you walked it, we were greeted with poor lighting and out of date furnitures.Food was nothing to rave about. I ordered the large pho which tasted mediocre, no onions in which was odd to me. The salad roll was dry and we could tell it was made very fresh. Server was ok, she brought our food quickly to our table. The other thing i didn't like was the parking. Although the restaurant is located at a busy intersection, parking proved to be a challenge. We all concur. This restaurant is a total miss."

"I only ate the gangめmode (tsukemen) here where I loved it! As a former resident of Tokyo Japan, I miss good tsukemen and ramen. Although the employees are usually not Japanese, they do a great job in recruiting the pig base I love. In Tokyo, people usually choose between the fish base broth known as to apply ≠wise (katsubushi) or the former, I always choose the pig variant."

"This is a comfort food restaurant. One of our favourites in Vancouver for a family meal. I had the salmon salad, others in my party had soup and sandwiches. All was delicious. Best grilled cheese, they said. Mildly pricey, but all in all a great place for a family dinner."

"For this review, we went to Mui Ngo Gai for a family dinner with our kids and grandkids, having been there a few times before. The restaurant is clean and very spacious. We found the cuisine to be very authentic, very tasty, of good quality and great value. The service is also very good as well always felt welcomed. You can't go wrong with any of their assortment of pho beef noodle soups. But our favorites are the tapioca dumpling wraps and crispy spring rolls for appetizers, and the pan fried crepe and grilled beef short rib as part of the main course, along with a couple of large bowls of their pho beef noodle soups. They normally serve the crepe only at dinner time because it takes a while to make."
