"Our meal was yummy and our table and drink service were fantastic! When we first arrived we stood at the entrance for at least five minutes and were not greeted by anyone. The restaurant was mostly empty and there were 6 servers lingering behind the bar. It was odd. We thought maybe we should seat ourselves? The host never greeted us with a “Welcome! I will be with you in just a minute”. It was awkward We just stood there for a long time trying to figure it out. Another couple came in shortly after us and had the same experience. They seated themselves then were moved to a different table"

"Our waitress took care of our order, but we could hear that the cook complained about our cheeseless Bruschetta so loudly that I didn't even complain when the pizza came too wrong. So many better places in the area. This patient, small, badly air-conditioned mega branch should be a hard pass."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"We loved the service and the idea of the menu, but almost everything we ordered was way too salty. It was a late reservation so I don’t know if chef had palette fatigue or that was the norm there. Although we grew up in the Atlanta area, my sister and I have lived elsewhere for decades so perhaps we’re just not used to southern cooking anymore."

"We’ve been going to Altobeli’s for over 12 years and have always felt at home. As with any change, like an ownership one in this particular case, there are going to some kinks to work out, of course. We have been a few times and these “kinks” were prevalent, but it’s Altobeli’s…..so loyalty prevailed. Last night we decided to go for a few big celebrations, but unfortunately, we were disappointed again, sadly to say for probably the last time. We had a reservation, yet the table wasn’t set up. They were out of Filet and Crème Brûlée. They were short on menus and lastly, the food was mediocre at best. The Pollo Cristo…..which was once our favorite dish of all time, was watery and lacked flavor, the key lime pie was the smallest slice I’ve ever seen, and a simple dish like pasta with butter was underwhelming. There were, of course, some positives: Our waiter was extremely friendly! The Salmon A la Griglia was awesome The linguini with clams was delicious. The entertainment was great! Overall, because we have had such great experiences in the past, our expectations were so lofty, and maybe that’s unfair, but with so much competition in the restaurant space….the “new” Altobeli’s needs to step up their game if they’re to compete. We wish you all the luck getting back previous glory, but in the interim, we will seek places to dine elsewhere."

"We had a very pleasant first time experience. We were greeted warmly and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful with food choices. The food is Mediterranean/Turkish cuisine. There were many lamb, beef, chicken and seafood choices. We really enjoyed our dining experience and will be back and would recommend to others."
