"We have worked together, some of us still do. It was nice to get together and have a chat without worrying about what we have to do next. The atmosphere is always great at The Crown, the food superb and the staff really good. Our waitress, Lisa, looked after us."

"Just had the best time at Fethr for a belated birthday lunch. Birthday fell in lockdown unfortunately. Sandis so welcoming as always. He is just the best host we’ve ever known. Always goes the extra mile and beyond. Tapas was so delicious calamari, patatas...bravas, meatballs, garlic mushrooms, spanish omelette... and cheese, biscuits and chutney to finish, all washed down with a very nice Malbec! Lovely ambience, great music and first time we’ve eaten there and it didn’t disappoint! Charming waitresses too! Well done Fethr! "

"Firstly we should say how happy we are with the room, location and easiness to find etc, the room was huge, clean, fairly modern with tonnes of plugs n usbs etc etc, very comfy twin bed we managed to push together.... we ate in the evening taking advantage of the old school carvery and the price was really fair, great quality carvery, absolutely burst our bellies, but! we still managed to have a honeycomb and chocolate sundae in bed later on..... ...but breakfast though? we came down to an empty host station, empty bar etc, waited for about 8 mins, then a manager approached with a sour face/morning face, asked us if we had paid......twice she asked us if we had paid, we paid online....£6 for brekkie or £8 if you want coffee, anyway....we approached the counter and not a single bit of protein for a vegetarian, i had to find the happy host again and ask if there were any veggie sausages in the kitchen to which she asked if i had paid....again.... sausages awful.....room no bad. x"

"We celebrated my sister's birthday and it couldn't have felt especially! the staff was really attentive, the service was amazing and eating! wow! delicious! I ordered the salmon for the starter and would recommend the sea bass I had for my main! great atmosphere. thanks for making it so special!"

"Unassuming place from first glance serving absolutely delicious meals that won't ruin your bank balance. Mixed grill and came with soft and succulent chunks of meat and generous sides. The baklava for dessert did not disappoint either. Everyone from the party of six left full and satisfied. Planning to visit again soon."
