"Beautiful wee caffe in asda. I used it only for breakfast when I people or when the woman shops in asda, as this is based in the filiale. it is also opposite the primary school and is used quite a lot...after child fall off"

"Fantastic dinner on first day of festive menu. The smoked salmon and prawn cocktail was lovely take on the traditional prawn cocktail . Salmon and prawns were both big and fresh. Main course was perfect too and very juicy . Tatties , sprouts and carrots...cooked to perfection too. Wonderful service; extremely attentive but not in your face. Big thumbs up from us and it’s back to its best . I’m just disappointed I never tried the feather blade for mains as it looked lovely , but I couldn’t have everything . Maybe next time . Highly recommended."

"This is everything a great cafe in a very small provincial town should be popular with the locals and cyclists but special enough to make it a go to destination for folk who live a little further away. This weekend we had the smoked...haddock chowder and the mushrooms with spinach and a (stunning) poached egg on sourdough with truffle oil. The food is home made on the premises, tastes fresh and uses local produce where possible, and it's food that just makes you want to lick the plate (even f someone is watching because you know they would understand The cakes are delicious and the menu is restricted to a few (mostly light) dishes but you leave satisfied and with a smile on your face. As it should be. Prices are very fair and there is some limited table seating on the pavement as well as inside. What a joy to have this near where we live."

"For four ordered, eating came half an hour earlier than indicated, but delivered as bought and beautiful and hot. decent portions and very tasty, scotch haggis and white pudding were delicious. better prices than similar local punctuals. I'd like to use it again."
