"Lovey afternoon tea. The sandwiches were really fresh and the salad was a nice extra. The free cold drinks was also a nice surprise. The vintage feel decor was gorgeous. Excellent value for money. Would definitely visit again!"

"Booked for a birthday meal. Very busy, but no queue at the food counter. Many unclear tables with debris. No Yorkshire puddings and at the time we had our meal. Toilets were extremely unpleasant - all five Kubikes locked in ladies and unusable. We said waiters. Waiter was very young and could have been more “on the ball” but did okay. Really love a car very much, but insecure we would go back there."

"The view was amazing and the room nicely decorated but it was so quiet when we arrived as there was no audible music and nobody seemed to be talking on the other tables, probably for that reason. The waiter was young and was nice but needed some training as he walked away before we finished our order, not realising we were considering sides (although we were still looking at the menu). Also when the wine was brought he plonked it on the table with the lid on and walked off. We can obviously pour wine ourselves but he should be trained so that he is confident at what he is doing. The starters were lovely and, for the most part, the mains too. The sea bass was delicious but the veg was far too salty so I had to leave most of it. You also NEED sides as the mains were on the small side. You cook the salmon yourself, which was quirky but not mentioned on the menu and slightly embarrassing when it’s sizzling away noisily and steaming when the room is so quiet. There was quite a wait between courses and we asked to see the desert menu in the end. We had a nice evening and the food was ok but we probably won’t go back."

"The service was dreadful which was a shame because we have eaten here previously and it had been very good. We waited 40 minutes for bread! We asked for water several times without it ever coming and the general attitude of the staff was poor."
