"Great food, great service and great atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, our sandwiches were delicious, and the young women behind the counter were friendly, helpful, and all around good at their jobs. The vegan sandwich our son ordered is pictured. He absolutely loved it. We'll definitely dine here again!"

"Looked up. it was very cold. server told us what they were out and if we wanted something from below, they would get it. Cheese curds were good. our burger was cold, rare (what should be medium) and fraught old! never brought our dessert and said you need to ask next time for a free one. there were only 3 tables and one person at the bar she took care of. with a tip, we spent $106. we felt like we threw away our money. very disappointing."

"Jammed pack on a friday night. Atmosphere is good our waitress was excellent. Ordered 14oz prime rib, but was a little dry. Little dissappointed for $30+ dinner. Calamari was great."

"One of the best places to get a hot dog. Prices are dared, I say it very cheap. Remember a place my parents take me and my brothers when we were kids. If you love fritted things, go for the dog, you will not be disappointed. Her wife had the crooked beef and she said it was fucking good."

"The food was good and flavorful. It seemed like the servers were stretched pretty thin. We had been seated for several minutes before our server walked by our table without acknowledging us. We had looked through the menu and decided what we wanted by the time she came to take our drink order, and then she walked away before we could say we already knew what we wanted to eat. In my opinion, customers at a breakfast restaurant should be greeted with an offer of coffee within a minute or two of sitting down, because really, who can think without coffee? The server also let our coffee cups empty before we asked for more, instead of coming by and offering more before we were out. Again, this is something that I think every breakfast restaurant employee should stay on top of: keeping coffee cups full. The atmosphere was modern and original. The chairs were not very comfortable, but there were two flavors of creamer to choose from apart from original, along with many jams and jellies. I would prefer the fast, coffee-pot-in-hand service of a traditional breakfast restaurant, but the food here was quality."

"My husband and I have been eating at this wonderful establishment for over 4 years. It is by far the best in the area, especially for the fish dinners and breakfasts (Sundays for sure, but any day of the week they are open)! Yes, unfortunately it had changed hands a few times, and when it was under other management/ownership, we did try it, but were not satisfied at all nor happy with the appearance of the restaurant during those visits. After one try, we never returned and dined elsewhere. The restaurant operated under D&L is very welcoming and warm. The décor is also very welcoming and meets the expectations of a family dining establishment. It is always very clean, even at its busiest times. The food is prepared and presented with finesse and created and served to cater to your personal preferences. The portions also exceed expectations, so be prepared to bring some home!The wait staff is always friendly, and the owners themselves are very friendly and welcoming when serving your table. We highly recommend this restaurant. The burgers are awesome, the fish is fabulous and the breakfast is by far the best and our most favourite meal on their menu. A portion of the yummiest home made jam is also a highlight of any breakfast dish served. The deserts are tastilicious and home made also. Everyone we have invited to dine there with us, has always left very happy they came and visit their now on their own and bring their friends too.We are thankful that D&L has reverted to the original owners and hope that they continue to be open for years to come under their personal ownership, management and cooking expertise."
